How To Make My Marriage Fun Again?

I remember sharing my sobbing, pathetic marriage story with my good friend one day; and he remarked that I did the same thing day in and day out, of course my man found me boring!

Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! How dare he was to say that! What did he know?? He was supposed to be there to comfort me! Hello!?

Well, looking back, I have to thank him instead. His remark was my wake-up call - I was BORING!!!

But what else could I do apart from doing my same old routine and being a boring, desperate housewife??

Then, I came across the term “Girl of Fun & Light” (GOFL) in the Six Intimacy Skills™. Being a curious and diligent student, I start to experiment with this interesting concept. For me, I love the 80’s and 90’s pop songs. So, I sing to bring that GOFL out of me.

One night, I heard the noises of my husband putting dishes into the dishwasher. So, I walked into the kitchen and sang “There’s a hero….he’s stacking up the dishes….”. It was such a funny and sweet moment! Lol!! He was very happy hearing the song!!! He smiled as he walked out of the kitchen. There, I continued to sing “and then a hero comes along, with the strength to carry on……..”. Wow, guess what happened next? He brought a Tupperware container into the kitchen and helped me clear up the rice from the rice cooker and even soaked the pot!!!! I couldn’t believe my eyes or well…my mouth!!!!
